Pietra Grey: set the balance between mineral tone and the tile grid
Pietra Grey is shown as an illustrative mineral-grey tile direction. Its understated colour can support several surrounding materials, but the completed field will also depend on face distribution and grout. Review it as a group of pieces rather than treating the single product image as the whole floor.
Compare the grey against the room’s warm and cool elements
A grey that appears neutral on screen can read differently beside oak, black metal or a white wall. Place the actual palette together and check whether the chosen combination feels deliberately warm, cool or balanced. In a connected room sequence, compare the transition rather than approving each material alone.
- Put the adjoining floor finish beside this tile.
- View the palette at the main threshold.
Choose how visible the rectangular grid should be

The laying orientation can emphasise the length or width of the room. A joint near the main ground tone softens that rhythm, while stronger contrast outlines the pieces. Show the room boundaries and the first alignment line so the installer can review the planned cuts.
- Review several mineral faces before setting out.
- Mark the principal row and perimeter pieces.
Keep the mineral-grey reference identifiable after the sample leaves the showroom

A grey sample can quickly become one of several similar pieces on a project desk. Label the Pietra Grey reference with its model identifier and retain the multi-face image that was reviewed with it. Note whether the buyer preferred its restrained mineral detail, its background tone or its relationship with a particular adjoining finish. If a different grey is proposed later, compare those recorded qualities rather than assuming any nearby shade is interchangeable. This is useful when purchasing and installation are handled by different people: the person receiving a sample should be able to understand what was selected without relying on someone else’s memory of a showroom conversation.
- Retain the reviewed mineral image with the labelled sample.
- Write down the selected grey’s role beside the adjoining finish.

Questions buyers ask
Is the grey in the preview a reliable match for my cabinetry?
Screen images are insufficient for a close colour relationship. Compare a physical product sample with the actual cabinetry finish and intended light.
Can Pietra Grey be used without reviewing its actual floor performance?
No. A mineral-grey appearance does not establish suitability. The selected finish, test information and project use must be reviewed together.
